Hannick House is located in the Fremantle area, however it provides for single men from both metropolitan and country areas. The service has the capacity to accommodate up to 10 single men requiring crisis or transitional accommodation. This is not only emergency accommodation but also a holistic program to assist residents in a process to change their life style. Admissions and referrals are available through the St Patrick’s Meals and Day Centre during the hours of 9.00am - 3.00pm Monday to Friday. There is not a 24 hour presence in the House, however, there is always staff member on call for emergencies. The service works towards ensuring the provision of safe and secure affordable crisis accommodation for males only over the age of 21 years of age (with a maximum stay of three months). The intention is focused on either preventing homelessness and / or assisting in securing longer term accommodation with other accommodation organisations. Hannick House maintains links with community housing providers such as Foundation Housing & Access Housing and works with various non government and government agencies to broker the provision of housing for low income earners.
