Accommodation..somewhere to stay

St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre currently provides low cost single room lodging house accommodation for single independent men over 21 years. We currently have 101 accommodation units. All rooms are allocated from a waiting list. Ignatius House offers en-suite bathrooms; all other lodging houses have shared bathrooms as well as shared laundries and kitchens with fridges. Linen is supplied.

The Lodging Houses Office is open from 8.30 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday to Friday.

Supported Accommodation

St. Patrick’s Community Support Centre also provides short-term supported accommodation for men who are experiencing personal crisis. Residents are given access to bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment for their own use and reside in a house comprising nine bedrooms with communal bathrooms, a lounge, dining area, courtyard and laundry.

Residents in our supported accommodation are encouraged to identify, prioritise and achieve personal short and longer term goals that can lead to life satisfaction. St Patrick’s support staff work closely with residents to achieve such goals. As with all supported accommodation services provided through St. Patrick’s, all residents take responsibility for their own actions and are expected to respect all house rules. This includes not only supporting an alcohol and drug-free environment, but extends to cleaning their own room and cleaning up after themselves in any of the communal areas.
